Between the Fabric

We are on the couch, relaxing and catching our breath. I am in my robe and you are wearing a crisp white hotel robe. I snuggle into the crook of your arm and I feel your body heat radiating through your robe. You are so warm and we are so relaxed. My hand slides across your robe, and between the fabric to feel the warmth of your chest. I feel your chest rise and fall with your calm breathing. We are talking in low voices and your gentle laughter is so contagious. Your body keeps drawing my hands back to it, I want to touch your skin and feel my hands move over your body. It’s not long before you are leading me back to bed and into your warm embrace. We are sliding our robes off and slipping between sheets.
